Until this past Saturday, that is.
I had the pleasure to attend EdCampCLE 2014, and I had my world ROCKED!
If you're unfamiliar with the concept of an EdCamp, it's professional development flipped. The content is teacher-driven, the ideas are innovative, the energy is authentic, and the desire to transform education is primary.
It's a Monday near the end of the school year, and yet I am inspired, overwhelmed, energized, and eager, especially by the shout-out below.
This was my first EdCamp, and I can assure you it won't be my last. Take a look yourself at #edcampCLE2014 or follow my Twitter feed. I've also posted some new resources from EdCampCLE to my LINKS page, most notably "Genius Hour," "Backchanneling," and "Formative Assessment." Feel free to grab and share, because if I learned anything this past Saturday, it's that good teaching begins with opening up and sharing everything we've got.
Even though it's Monday, I feel good. Hope you have a great week, too!
